cannot get vista run cd even get to burn cd

CANNOT GET VISTA TO RUN FROM CD OR EVEN GET IT TO BURN TO CD

CAN ANYONE HELP I HAVE DOWNLOADED TAKING HOURES AND HOURES AND BURNT TO CD BUT I CANNOT GET CD TO RUN IT KEEPS GOING TO CD BURNER TO OPEN ALL THE TIME I HAVE TRYED EVERYTHING DOWNLOADING IT SEVERAL TIMES AND TRYING AGAIN I GET ABOUT 14MB SOMETIMES AND OTHERS I GET THE FULL 3 AND A HALF GIGERBITES OR SO CAN ANYONE TELL ME WERE I am GOING WRONG PLEASE THANK YOU

Initially, I had the same issue with Nero telling me that it was "Not possible for an ISO file to exceed 2 gb"; so after some fighting; I used Nero Express; and it burned the ISO file perfectly; and I had vista up and installed within an hour.
Ensure
that your burning software is not just copying the ISO file onto the disc; but actually using the image to create the full installation disc. This can commonly happen with Burning Software which doesn't like ISO files.

I think hes trying to get it on a CD, not a DVD (i could be wrong) as a person without a DVD drive, I am hoping there is a way to get it installed on my comp... is there?
